Question Is your carpeting curling?

I noticed the top of the carpeting is curling behind the brake and gas pedal. When you look at it it looks like they cut the top six inches short to start with. Any ideas how to fix this? I tried using duct tape doubled up it lasted about 2 days. Thanks. Bob.

A little stereo tip: contact cement, and not the home depot stuff, the good stuff from 3M.

I had a very similar issue when I first got my truck. Where I would rest my foot on long drives is where the carpet was curling up. I ended up changing my carpet to a Black one so I don't have the issue anymore. What you can do is buy some 3M or similar company spray adhesive. I had to use it to get the new carpet to sit right in my truck and it worked very well.

Here is the old carpet with the curling issue.

Here is the new carpet installed.

I got the carpet from Auto Custom Carpets.

http://www.accmats.com/

It cost me $140 shipped to my door. It fit pretty good and only needed a little bit of triming. It looks much better in person. The only hard part was getting the carpet to mold to the floor. It does not sit perfect but over time with the heat it should seat better.
