Cool Unoffical Exhaust mod testing.

Well, since I didn't see it up, I guess I'll be the first to say that Ciione put Magnaflows on his 01 L today. And I, as many of you know, have straight pipes on my baby. So on came a couple tests.

First, the beatuy contest:

Personally, I think the BLack one is the best looking(but of course I'm biased, isn't she beautiful?) , but judges say Silver due to dirt showing on BLack more.

Second, a little street racing:

At this moment, estimated speed was around 90-100 mph. Of coures, we all KNEW deep down inside, BLack is the fastest color, but did the straight pipes help more?

Third, and lastly, we smoked out:

yeah yeah, I know, I left early, but I saw some guys calling the cops, not a good thing. But it was a dead end where they were starting construction, so no one could have been hurt! So I guess Ciione wins this one as well. Congrats Tom, awesome truck!!

But don't get too ****y, because I still am bigger than you!

Cool

Are we talking about the 12568 Magnaflow or two mufflers. You don't get the built in X-pipe with the two mufflers.

I sent Ciione the pictures, so if he could put it up in his post, and have him give you his impressions. I do belive it was the 12568 though. NOT positive, but I think it is. If you ABSOLUTELY can't wait, the pictures are up in my Photo Album linked in my sig. There are the very bottom. And no, there wasn't an x-pipe put in. Just to let ya'll know that I think the race came out like for 2 reasons. #1 the straight pipes will simply out flow a muffler. it's obvious why. And #2 Ciione has all of 2000+ miles on his Lightning, while I hit the 5000 mark while I was out racing him. And you can see how close he is to me (half truck), and it stayed that way for the duration of the race.

Question

How controlled were these tests? Did you race before the exhaust work? Results?

Yes, we have raced before, on a track, as well as on the streets. And It was about the same results. This is a joke post, not in any way saying my pipes are better than any muffler. Tom, glad you like them. Sorry for some of the fuzzy pictures, I was about to tip over on some of the shots.

Awesome pics guys. I guess it's now proven via valid scientific method that black is indeed the fastest color.

I feel an "I told you so" coming on..

"I had a feeling"

Nice. That looked like a lot of fun. How are those new F-1s? I may order a set of those, instead of wrong sized nittos.

While his truck was on the lift, I noticed that he has more control then I do. Mine are almost gone. And I wasted some last night smoking a Cobra over and over and over.
