I'm sure the shop guys would have an idea who it is...Someone who has a grudge against the shop or the owner of the truck. I can't stand people who do this sort of thing,it happened to a friend of mines 68 Mustang fastback once... They threw a large rock through the window,drove it through hell and back,then knifed the interior to little pieces....... Oh Yes,they should die!!!,,,,98

 

They should be dragged through the 1/4 by their ***** behind an L. I volunteer to drive.

That REALLY $ucks, Does anybody else fing it ironic that it gets stolen while a security system/DVD/Stereo unit is being installed in the truck. I can only hope the scum dies a slow painful death.

The bigger question is how did they start it without the keys?

These trucks are supposed to be un-drivable without the keys, OK to normal punks anyway.

Now if they somehow found the keys in the garage then it's an inside job probably.

I know this sounds after the fact but this is the reason why I have a dead switch in mine, one of the better $75 that I've spent.

 

Damn.....Im pissed and it aint even my Lightning! I say when the little ****** are caught,they need to back two Lightnings rear end to rear end and tie a rope on each rear bumper,the first loose end around the little ****** private parts and the other loose end around his hands. Then SLOWLY ease the trucks apart until SOMETHING gives! Bet he would never steal another Lightning.

When I was young and 8-tracks were prevalent, they were the hot item to steal. I booby-trapped mine (yeah I know it's illegal, but I didn't back then) by putting razor blades all along the edge of the bottom so that they stuck out about 3/16 of an inch. The body of the Ranger Mini-8 being black caused the electrical tape I used to be well hidden. Yeah, somebody tried. It appeared they were well pissed because it looked like it was kicked til the mount bent and the unit was facing the floor. OK, I had some damage, but I like to think I had the last laugh cuz there was blood everywhere!
