What kind of spark plug do you guys highly recommend? and sealers and all the junk should i use. (SO plugs wont be loosining up cause of the thread problem!) i want a perfect job and its my first time so i will take any advice. I apologize for this response, (it might sound supercilious) however: this question has been asked several hundred times, www.lightningrodder.com they have a how to section, http://www.svtlightnings.com/ also has a how to section.

And I bet; if you do a search on this site, you will get more information that you would want to spend the time reading it.

I suggest that you change the pulley first then, research the plug, and as far as plug goes everybody has his own opinion. (That means you will have to install this one type, and then another type, and so on, until you find what plugs works best on YOU’R TRUCK)!

Good luck….

motorcraft plugs or some NGK TR5's for stock boost. If you plan on going to a 4lb lower soon you can run the NGK TR6's gapped at .036-.038.

Coo noticing in my research are people mostly using ngk's 55 as the main brand when it comes to stock boost

What I use is below, for stock or ask LFP for a specific MOD application.

The best part is the way the engine idles, and they produce less misfires.

Brisk Premium LGS Spark Plugs
Features High-Potential Semi-Surface Discharge = MORE POWERDischarge at Point of Richest Mixture in 360 Degrees PermiterPatented Firing Tip Design -...

Like I said, these work best on my L, and everybody will have a specific favorite.

Also “no gap to set”, it has four electrodes.

The only difference b/w the TR55 and the TR5 is the TR5's have a closer gap. I'd use those since they are closest to the stock gap. The IX means it's an iridium electrode which is supposed to give a better burn, but I wouldn't worry about those until I was making much more power. Keep your gap from .036-.038 until your making close to 600hp and then you may need to close the gap some to prevent spark blowout. You won't go wrong with motorcraft stockers or the TR5's. FYI, Autolite makes the motorcraft plugs.
