You could do this option: Find yourself a signmaker shop and ask them to produce a magnetic replica of your state plate, then stick to the front of your truck when drive around remove it to park. It will stay on the front even if you drive 100mph.
Just my 2 cents.

if it didn't come with a mount (like on a Corvette) you don't have to have one...tell him to suck off! </font>
If the law says you have to have 2 plates you have to have 2 plates. All modern autos come with the ability to mount a front plate, even the Corvettes, Porches and Ferrari's. Just because the owners dont mount one doesnt make it right. The bracket is typically under the seat. There are 2 small dents in the bumper where you have to drill 2 holes to mount the plate. Yes it is an eyesore to some people.

I believe that DJY put his bracket on his lower grill using zip-ties or something. Therefore no need to drill into the bumper. I don't blame you for not wanting to drill into it. I can't stand the dimples that they put in it from the factory. Just my $.02

Howdy!

Cops blow period, especially Plano PD. Never had any of them complain about my aTm front plate though. If that ever happens, I'll just say I'll mount my Glock plate in their azz! LOL.

For some unknown reason the previous owner cut the front plate bracket on my truck. I have the replacement bracket but it looks like too much work to put it on. I haven't been pulled over yet but I guess the EMT/FF thing kinda takes care of that.

Cool

Potential $75.00 fine in IL for no front plate. I figure if I get a ticket or two for it, I'll pay them. It would be alot cheaper than a replacement bumper cover. I haven't gotten any hassle for no front plate yet, (knock on wood).

The magnetic fake plate would be a good idea, however there is virtually NOTHING exposed on the front of our L's that is ferrous, read magnetic, metal.

Just my .02.

Later,
Jake...

Just hang it from your rear view mirror. no one could say i wasn't noticeable. i think the only purpose it serves on your front bumper, is a target for their laser guns.
