Post Airair problem --- FIXED! (almost)

Being the smart kid that I am, I went and checked my old air box for a piece that I might have left off the Airaid. I forgot to put the small grey air-sensor into the Airaid. Put it into the airaid, plugged in the sensor, and I'm good to go. Still have to unplug the battery to reset the computer (to get rid of the "Service Engine Soon" light). Am I correct in saying I need to disconnect the battery at the negative and reconnect?

Thanks for help, everyone, on last post.

Colin

Thumbs up

You would correct in the Negative terminal. Turn on the Head lamps and then disconnnect negative terminal for at least 10 minutes. The headlights will drain all electricity from the truck.

Woodie, but then wouldn't I have to jump the truck to get it started again? I'm gonna go give it a whirl.

Sawweeet. Disconnected the battery for 2 minutes and connected, all was well. Service Engine light went off, radio reset...
So, my first mod installed, ever. Gotta start somewhere...
