Wink Home built ram air is on

I just finished installing the ghetto ram air. I am going to clean up and go to a Survivor watching party and test it on the way. I used 3" brake duct ran to the bottom of the bumper and to the air box bottom. Even idling in the garage it is sucking in air! I hope it sounds good and works better. How many cfm is 3"? Natural I think it is around 600 cfm? My double barrel TBI 2" was a 670 cfm. You can see it from the front under the bumper as it is but that will give it that "experimantal look". I took creative writing can you tell??? Later guys, Terry.

Thumbs up

Those under the bumper ram-airs work great in 35-78' degree weather but once the temps hit 80+, like in Fla.m you will be sucking 100'-135'+ degree track temps when you go to the track. Ask me!!!
In late Sept. I PUT JLs ran air kit on till April when the temps reach 80+ then it's off again.
Just some info. for you.

Dan

I made a test trip about 40 miles. Feels stronger with more over 4K RPM. Now the boost stays at or over over 10psi from 3500 rpm up to shift. It used to drop off and only peak at 10 before shift. Can't hear much difference in the whine. I have a camera but may need some help posting pics. Now I need to refince the mod so it looks good and maybe install a trick door like KGM. Over all I give it two claps of thunder.
