does anyone know the i/c fluid capacity?

Does anyone know the fluid capacity of the intercooler system?
Ford doesn't seem to know and my owner's manual is in the truck...which is in storage.

For adding fluid, is using regular tap water okay for my 50/50 mix?

Thanks.

The stock capacity of our intercooler system is 1.05 gallons. I suggest regular 50/50 mix.

To answer your question directly, NO, tap water is not fine. Nor is mineral water. You need distilled or RO water.

so are you using the complete bottle of water wetter? i was thinkin about takin and using water wetter and 50/50 mix of antifreeze and water since the cold temps here are below freezing sometimes i dont need my intercooler freezin up at all with just the water and water wetter. how much should i drain out of the intercooler and replace with how much of the water wetter? i just wanted to run it thru the i/c and not the engine, ive got an engine temp guage that reads me plenty cool even durin the summertime so i dont want to run it in the engine, just i/c...

I thought I remembered reading that somewhere...figured it would be an easy look-up for you but obviously it's not the case anymore.
