Is there anyone here who has bought or had experience with one of JLP's engines? Were the experiences good, bad, or otherwise?

My little piece of advice is to buy the engine as local as possible, that way you can have it installed by the builder and atleast have some hope of warranty.

I use the term "warranty" loosely at best, but some builders will help you out more than others if you buy/install with them and you have a problem.

i bought a Shortblock from them about 3 years ago now. it has peformed flawlessly at over 700hp. compression is consistant in all the cylinders. but than again its all about the other parts and how its installed and tuned.
