Talk about BAD things happening in 3s!!!!
Talk about 3s.
I took my L in Friday to have my belts changed for squealing and a rattling-gringing noise at idle.
Belts were changed along with 2-Blower belt idlers and a Blower Belt Tensioner. Guess what? Noise still there. Tech removed the blower belt-noise quit.
Spun the Blower pulley- gringing noise-BIG TIME.
1) BLOWER SNOUT BRG. BAD!!
Got home-flushed the coolent in the I/c and changed it.
Took it to the track last night. Changed to ET Streets and went to go in the staging lanes. Ran across a piece of metal-some idiot left on the ground-
2) slit a ET Street tire
Made two runs with NO CHIP-Computer kept shutting off on the 1-2 shift for about .3 tenths (couldn't compute the 3.73s and the 26" tall tires) went back to park in my place some idiot had parked their car in so I couldn, get my jack and tools out.(2 1/2)
3) Noticed my I/C tank was 2" down. NOW THIS IS NOT A SLOW LEAK-in 2-1/4 mile passes. Filled it up with distilled water.
Guess I'll just run straight Distilled Water, hold off on the new blower and WAIT TILL SVT gets their ***** TOGETHER on the I/C FIX!! Which ever comes or goes first!!!
(good thing I've practiced at holding my breath-he,he.)
Where is that I/C sign in of TUNDRAS??
