Thumbs up lightning is out of storage, Yaaa, but

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Hapy days are back again, and it feels so good.

Though I don't know why but my Alpine is dying on me, it keepes shutting off. Also one of the front QA1's also looks like it took a dump on me too, I think it just blew a oring as it has no oil in it.

So I digged arount and found my old (one inch shorter) Hotchkiss Bilstein shocks I ran before the QA1's so they are going on tomorrow after work. Then I will send the QA1's back to denny to rebuild, and revalve them. I think I am going to go 60/40 instead of 70/30 like I have run for the past few years.

Simce the Alpine I had was 5 years old, I am not going to bother to fix it, so I just ordered one of these

So now I will be able to use my Ipod in both the Lightning and the Bronco

It felt so weird to be back in the Lightning, but what a awesome feeling to have all that power under the right foot, and belive it or not it gets better gas milliage than the Jeep Liberty I drove all winter.

Don't say never, as all it takes is money and once, or if I ever finish the bronco, who knows I may just go for it.

You should see the bronco now
All new custom dash, redid the seats, new bumper, and a winch

congrats on getting your truck out of storage. Do you put it on stands, or just run it in there and park it?

me too

i took mine home sunday. I've been neglecting it. I need to get on the ball.

I need to get my exhaust fixed. My stainless steel silver bullet exhaust , has rotted the pipes from the mufflers to the tips almost completely apart at this point. Not even driven in the rain.

My chrome svt wheels need re-chroming bad. I'd have to do that in the offseason for obvious reasons. Any recomendations in the new england area?

Crazy talk...putting L's away for bad weather.

daily drivers ROCK but I do agree that this winter has
gone on forever, and it'd be nice to get it over with.

What's wrong with this picture??? You're not the only one that's had JDM's staynless steel rust into oblivion.

Well the new head unit came in today, I installed it, but I hate the thing. It is the biggest peice of crap I have ever had. Yes the Ipod interface works great, but thats all that works great.

If you want to raise the volume a little bit you have to rotate the **** at least a half a turn.

If you want to change stations on the radio, or on satilite. you have to hit the preset button, then scroll to the preset you want and then hit the big button. So 3 steps just to chage a station stored in your presets.

And to Top it off the unit is gutless, it just doesn't have much power

So a new unit is on its way to me, and that peice of crap is heading back
