How did you guys mount the end of the air filter. The bracket that comes with it has the 2 holes in it does not seem to be right.The one thing that is good is that the whole setup from adapter to the inlet to the bigmouth filter is 4".....same size as the 99mm Maf. Thanks for any info. Jeff

Jeff,

I just installed the 90mm intake kit and that spring bracket needed some modifing. I used a drill bit in my Dremel roto tool to enlongate the hole near the end of the bracket inward and at an angle the same way as the bracket cuves there. I installed it with the end of the bracket (the end with the enlongated hole) pointing towards the engine. Getting the filter in it is a pain but once it is in there, you can adjust where it sits just by bending that bracket in the direction you want the filter to go.

The holes in the bracket should line up with the cruise control thingy. I had to try my bracket both ways and bend it a little. In the end I only used one of the bolts as I did not want to risk it rubbing the filter. All lines up well if you keep trying.
