There's got to be away to solve this problem with the 99/00 and the 01's. those lights have been in the mustangs for how many years now.

My fog lights. They are still smooth on the outside, meaning that they cracked from the inside, most likely while driving in the rain with them on.

Feel the outside of the fog lamps, where the cracks are. If there is any "rock chip" like grooves, or cracks on the outside, you're going to have a hell of a time getting it under warranty. And that how my Ford Tech checked if it was warranty. He rubbed my fogs lamps.

Can't they make them out of ABS or some kind of plastic like they did with the fog lights for the 4x4's? The headlights are also plastic aren't they?

Future mods: Supercharger, headers, NOS, tranny upgrade(heavy duty gears, clutch packs, etc.), performance torque converter, composite driveshaft, bore cylinders 30 over, new pistons, crank, and rods, get performance heads or port the ones I have, gauges for the a-pillar, new L if they still make them and I like the way it looks, and a Z06 Vette or BMW Z3.

I just got back from Tommie Vaughn Ford (Houston). I told them about my Fogs,and they told me that would order some and replace them under warranty. That's good news except it would be nice if they wouldn't break in the first place.

Damn, mine, too. On right crack is two and a half inch arc that can't be felt on surface. On left are two small cracks that look like finger nail marks - both on the inside.

I never use the fog lights. I figure if I'm coming up on a police car I don't want to alert him...

I'll use this thread and a couple of others to demand warranty repair.

I'll be taking mine to the dealer tomorrow to see what they say about the fogs. Hopefully they won't try to give me any crap about it. If they do, I'm going to show 'em this post so that they can see how often this happens.

Could you perhaps get a replacement and Keep the old ones in just in case you wanted to sell the truck then you could run them worry free.

I stopped by the dealer yesterday and they said it would be a warrenty job and I have an appt. for next Fri. What sucks is that if they don't have the lenses on Fri. (they won't!!! I know it!) I will have to come back after they order and receive them.
