silver paint and after market hoods

Hey guys i have been wanting to install a cervini's 3" cowl on my truck for awhile now. I am a little worried about the paint matching though. did you fade your fenders or did you just paint the aftermarket hood? how does it match? post some pics if you dont care. thanks

Not to discourage you but Silver is a difficult color to match. If you spend the extra money the bodyshop can do sprayout cards to check the color match and adjust the color from there. They usually spray the tops of the fenders so they dont have to spend the extra time on the cards.

I personally would not have them spray the fender tops. Two reasons if you go back to the stock hood the shade diff. may show. I would try to keep the fenders with the original paint.
