I can 2nd that. If you can afford one without breaking the bank, you will love every minute of it. The good, the bad and the ugly.

It's a pickup truck and it's as fast as a Corvette.

Lightnings are pretty cool, and where I work we have over eighty guys that drive trucks, and even the Ford haters tell me that my truck has grown on them and they kind of dig it. Having a supercharger connected to your right foot is the only way to go. I'm running out of pictures so you'd better get one.

i had a question, my friend has a truck like mine, and he saw ur lightning, well the pics, and he loved the tonneau covers, did it come like that or did u buy it? he wanted one just like it, also wanted to know if it would fit his truck, again his truck is similar to mine

It came with the truck when I bought it. It's made by *******'s and the lip on the back makes it their Speedsturr model. Below is the link to the company. Have your friend check it out and see if they make one for his truck.

I sold my old 04 lightning for new 07 F-150 that I factory ordered. Just hated the 07, I quickly became the remorsefull seller. It took 6-8 months of searching to mind a nice one. Found an 03 with a built motor, my work truck. AKA the fastest toolbox in town..

go with the 03-04 years. The o4 below.

you guys think you got it bad on gas... look at me, having a lead foot, a lifted 4WD F-150 with the 5.4, averaging 10mpg, and i still had the ***** to buy a lightning oem blower for a supercharger project, lol.

ha. get a v6, and you'll be wishing you have a lightning. For some reason the v6 gets terrible mpg...

on the other hand, I love my truck. It kinda sort of might look like a lightning, even though I got the rims because they look cool, not to make it a L clone.
