Oh my gosh, an import tuner got ahold of a classic Mustang?!? Check out those multitudinous lights in the front, not to mention the ground effects and rims. I like the ground effects but not the other mods.

I would finish my 73 Cutlass for performance, & buy a crew cab F450 tow truck, & mod the hell out of it. & go rice hunting! Pure shock value. I had a 94 F450 flatbed with a PSD (12,000#) that pulled real strong with just a few mods. High 14's (in a crew cab tow truck) at 10,000#. That would blow peoples minds. Lloyd

There is no replacement! I HAVE to have a truck so that I can pull my drag car. The L is my daily driver, and I love it. The gas mileage can be a bit unnerving at times, but it's not easy propelling a 4800+ lb. truck to low 13's w/ two easy bolt-ons! If I was to get rid of my L, I would probably get an ext. cab PowerStroke. That's when I'd step up to an enclosed car trailer for the drag car, and I'd start the modfest all over again. While this is a "replacement" for the L, it doesn't compete at all considering what the L was built for. The L has the market on a true performance sports truck. I've been a die-hard GM guy, and the L is the first Ford that I've owned. Nobody else (ahem Chevy) has the b@lls to build an awesome truck to compete w/ the L, so I went with what was out there. Should Chevy build something bigger and badder down the road (which are BIG shoes to fill), then I might consider it. Until then, there really isn't a replacement. Show me another 13-second bone-stock car hauler?

Couldn't have said it better myself. Even the 1st Gen L's walked all over the 454 SS trucks. I am/was a die hard Chevy guy but nothing compares to the Lightning.

A 2002 Cooper Mini. One problem though...I'd have to go to the factory and have them build it around me.
