I am VERY pissed right now!!!! My 2001 has just reached 500 miles and today when I pulled into my parking lot, I heard a loud grinding/squeaking vibration coming from beneath the truck! I put it in reverse and the noise was there....in drive it only makes the noise when it's coasting slowly. It makes no noise in park. I'm assuming it's the tranny, maybe the rear end. Has anyone else had this poblem? Well, it's a visit to my dealership after 500 damn miles!!!!!!!!!!

Is it while the steering is turned or going straight ahead? If it's while turning it could be the dreaded front end pop. Grease the steering stops.
