any jdm spring updates

i have been searching for info on JDM's drag coils. i have found a lot of post about them but they are from last year or older. i was wondering how people still feel about them? now that they have had time to drive on them on the street and track. i have hotchkis hp1000 (tvs) front shocks and a hotchkis front sway bar on my truck right now. i wonder how the JDM springs would handle when combined with the hotchkis parts? I plan on upgrading to QA1s down the road so i could turn up the stiffness on the shocks when used with the jdm springs. thoughts or advice? the truck will be used for street and drag race only.

I have had good success running the JDM drag springs with QA1 shocks. They have allowed a 1.,41 60' time so far with no trace of wheelspin yet. I continue to explore the limits of shock settings, tire pressure, and power delivery in pursuit of the perfect launch.
On the street I run no swaybar. The front end is not as stable as I would like for "spirited" driving. That is not much of a concern for me as I am into acceleration more than handling

THANKS JIM. Think my hotchkis sway bar would help on the street? i plan on just removing the sway bar at the track.

I am sure it would help out. Both of mine are removed for weight transfer and weight savings.

thanks jim.

As soon as i post this i am going to ordered a set of JDM drag springs. Could any users post your ride heights from the center cap to the fender lip for me. Also could you also tell me if you cut the springs or are you using spindles. I have hotchkis leaf springs on the rear of my truck so i am tring to get an idea of what i am going to need to do to get the truck to sit even.

Be careful not to cut too much off the springs at first. They settle a bit after driving.

I have been driving on the street with mine for quite a while now
(JDM Drag Springs with 1 coil cut off). I have the QA1's set at 5 Clicks Front and Back, and I run a Sway Bar on the Street and Track. I leave the rear QA-1's at 5 Clicks at the track and bring the fronts down to 2 clicks.
Consistant 1.41 - 1.45 60 ft's with a 1.39 under it's belt.

On the street I find it a little heavy on the nose but I feel thats mostly because my rear is up way too high. It def doesnt handle like stock but with the sway bar it's pretty dam good and not much of a sacrifice at all.
Most of my driving is sideways anyways

Which is probably why every cop in NY knows Rob by his first name.
