Howdy!

Twiztid & Black2k1,

I don't drive an L but the incessant bickering on this board amuses me greatly.. Keep it up.. I love it!

Black2k1,

Send me your #.

Have a nice day.

------------------
My ride:

Basics:
- '99 XLT F-150

Under hood and back:
- Ram air (Don't ask me how )
- AiRaid intake
- Flowmaster DF 50 Series
- 24x3.5" Stainless steel slashed tips (Yes! Solid polished SS, no cheesy chrome-plated)
...

Outside:
- Precision polished billet grille and plate holders
- American Racing 17x8s polished Pythons (Flushed front AND back)
- Goodyear.. something tires (Expensive is all I know. LOL. No Firestone firecrackers for me either)
- Rhino liner
- Ford nerf bars
- Ford bed rails
...

Inside:
- My girlfriend!
...

Fun stuff:
- Dual sirens Black Widow alarm system/keyless entry (Enough decibels to go deaf in a garage )
- Custom driving lights (Just a cool blue)
- 2 High-Watt lights behind grille (For people who cut me off )
- Dual horns (For people who, again, cut me off)
- Dual wheel locks (So I won't be driving home on bricks!)
- Spare wheel lock (So I won't have to use a brick as a spare )
...

Best of all:
- Texas A&M University aTm front plate! Gig'em Aggies!!

TWIZTED...I can totally see your point about asking the age and if they are owned, leased, gifts, prizes, etc...
I am happy to say that I bought my 25K F-150 when I was 22, and we got my wifes 36K Expedition when I was 23, she is 26 now and I am just barely 24. As a younger person, there is pride in being able to own a high performance or expensive vehicle. I remember my salesmen telling me at first that he was very surprised to hear me tell him on the phone that I would be in to put 36K in the dealers pocket today....and actually showed up to do it! Lets all be nice here, he asked a simple question and a simple answer would be easy enough. If you don't like the topic, don't respond to it. Have a nice one folks.

well i should have a 2001 balck lightnig but i dont.im 18 BTW.
dont know if what i have is better or not.

i had a 2001 on order at Oakley Kesee Ford in Memphis (in fact they have it stored in the back if anyone is interested)

2 weeeks before it was SUPPOSED to come in they called and said it would be another month before i could get it.

well my dad took the money that they were holding as a deposit and without asking me bought a 2001 Silver Lincoln Navigator 4x4.

i really want that lightning though.but i have gotten used to all the room in the Gator.

Let me know if you think i got screwed over.

svtaudio,

I'm waiting for my black 01. Should be here
next week. My wife would probably rather have the navigator, but I am getting what I want with her money. Though I think Gators are sweet, I have always wanted a muscle car and now I will be getting one.

Well, no comparing a Gator to an L...but since I have a family and can't have an L simply because I need the room, I would take the Gator any day! We have the Expy and its cool, but I know a Gator is just that much better.

IT PUTS OUT 300HP and i am thinking of having a holley supercharger put on at christmas and maybe some 22's next june.

my girlfriend loves the Gator and it has PLENTY of room to do whatever you need to.
and the lightning is just badass.

i love the looks i get when i pull up somewhere in it,. i know people are thinking what the hell is that kid doing in a $55,000 suv.
but i also love the looks that are given when i am with my cousin in his 2000 L and you kill a guy in a Vette or any other car.

im trapped being Luxury and Speed.
i probably do look better in the gator because i always try to look oplulent
whenever i go somewhere.

again if anyone is interested in a 2001 black lightning let me know. i will give you the phone # to the dealership.

svtaudio -

Man, you got boned! You're too young to be missing out on the Lightning experience driving a Nav. Who gives a phukk about people thinking kid in a $55K suv? Get a ride for you to enjoy. You think people who know what a Lightning is won't say kid in a Lightning?

zeroxman1-
I was just givin 'em a hard time...

svtaudio-
I could go with a "gator", but Id say; get the L, and spend 20K on a boat, and the rest on pimpin out the Bolt. Or ya could just get two Lightnings!

gezz, I wish I was that loaded!

im not worried about missing anything.
i 3 years when i graduate college my grandparents are giving me their restaurant and my gift to myself will first be a bently, then i will see about getting something that i can drive everyday that is fast.

ive been running it for them for the past 2 1/2 years and can't wait till they retire and give it to me.

if i am still around on this board then we can get together some lightning meets there.
hell what do you think the HP will be on the 2004 lightning (if they keep making them)

www.sardislake.com click on restaurants..

then on Holiday Lodge.
