200,000 miles!?!

how many 2000 Lightnings have you seen hit 200,000 miles? AND still look this good!

I just realized these are the only pictures I have on this computer. I will take some of the outside tomorrow. You can see it behind my FX4 in my signature.

Any major issues along the way?

My friend has an 02 with 224,000 on it. Interior isn't in great shape, but the exterior looks new.

May try to snap a few pics Sunday when I see him.

only thing major was a fuel pump once...other than that, nothing mechanical. It was hit by some idiot in a chrysler 300 about 2 years ago, which was when it got a completely new paint job, a roll pan, smooth steps, fiberglass tonneau, and a billet grille.

I have pictures on my camera, but I cannot find the wire to upload them. I will put some up as soon as I find the wire.

Geeze, I couldn't imagine owning a L with the economy in the crapper like it is now, how do you own TWO V8 Fords? Eating cup-a-soups lately?

I once owned a V-6 supercharged Thunderbird Supercoupe, other than that every car I have ever owned has been a V-8, including all 5 right now. The only vehicle I own that is more fuel efficient than the L, is a '99 Lincoln Town Car. Gas is still the cheapest cost involving a car. I have 76K on my '02 L.
