Question bought a set of HID projector headlights-installers can't get them to fit!

Guys loooooong time no see.

I finally got jack of my old headlights last month, which are such a pain out on dark roads, that I decided to make a concerted effort to get some units with HID. So I purchased the following set on ebay

However after getting them here I found that the guys I gave them to install, can get them to fit in properly with the front grill in place normally. I did see a similar post ironically from UKSVT having a similar issue.

Can anyone shed any light on why these new 1 piece units won't fit? It's really annoying to say the least.

It is God's way of telling you not to put those awful things in your truck.

LOL- I was dubious at to how they'd look. But I thought they may update it a bit , then again perhaps not!

What is the particular problem(s) the installer encountered? Have you tried it with your own two hands?

Why is your installer afraid to remove the surround?

You can not remove the surround to install the one piece lights, as you will not be able to re-install the surround with the one piece lights in there, either the lights are for a PRE-1998 F-150, or your installer sucks.
