My L won't idle...HELP!!

Drove my L last weekend and it ran fine, I went to drive it today and it will start but will not idle. If I bring my RPMs up to 2000 it runs fine but when I lift off the gas peddle it dies. Any advice??

Look for obvious vacuum leaks.

Clean the IAC.

Thanks B-Man, I assuming it has to be something simply like that. At the risk of sounding like a newbie (which I am) can you tell me what the IAC is?
Thanks

No problem. There is an elbow on the back of the manifold that seems to decompose over time and cause a pretty bad vacuum leak as well.

From what I've read it is hard to get to, but you can do it if you have patience.

Scroll down and there is a picture (out of the truck) of what I am talking about.

Thank you to all that replied, I cleaned the IAC this weekend and found a bad vacume hose. The truck is idling great again!
