Lightbulb Strange lights in rearview mirror

On my way home from the Rod Stewart concert Saturday night I kept seeing this strange light in my rearview mirror. A vertical band made up of little horizontal stripes would appear, move off to the side, fade, then another would start. Then it struck me! Seems the streetlights were reflecting off the Retrax cover I installed on Thursday. Guess I won't Zaino the Retrax!

Don't eat hallucinogens before your next concert, and see if the problem goes away.

Does the sub box get in the way if you move the seat all the way back? How bout if you recline it all the way too? Does the seatback touch the sub box?

Thanks
Andy

Just remove your rearview mirror. The dumbo ears on the side should be sufficient. Removing the rearview really opens up the windshield, makes the truck seem less stuffy.

Wink

I've had the same thing happen on many occasions. Come to find out it was GM and Chrysler spys trying to film the beast in action. The lights from the camera crew riding in the back were my first clue than the loud screaming/begging for mercy coming in through my sliding window. Luckily a 180 degree turn at about 60mph always gets rid of them
