Acceptable fuel pressures?

i did a swap recently, noticing odd fp @ idle. sometimes its 32psi @ idle (15in vac) sometimes its 36psi or around that.

reason im asking is because sometimes i have stalling issue at idle in gear. it will rpm hunt and die sometimes.:o

i do have cams and massaged heads.

[edit] i should mention i have set the p0172/p0175 codes, system too rich on a few occasions mostly @ idle when warm.

Check the resistor that is located where the intercooler pump is at, Also did u put bigger pumps in, I had the same problem where it would bounce around alot, so i bought an ajustable regulator and cut the resistor out of the loop and wired the two wires together and set the fuel pressure at 40 and it been there ever since with out no problems for 3 years.

We are assuming that your MAF is clean, IAC is clean and the TPS is set properly plus all are cleaned. Vacuum leaks checked for....

2/3 are new, i havnt been able to find a vac leak.

im running a single 255lph - remember this is a L conversion

sounds like 36 psi is acceptable @ idle?

im so close to .99 as it is. how finicky is the pcm with that voltage?
also, im seeing minor "hash" at idle when datalogging, i see 3% variance @ idle.

Gonna re-use my thread. I'm having intermittent flagging of 175 and 172, mostly bank 2 will flag first then a while later bank 1 will join in the fun.

Symptoms vary constantly. Always smells rich, is always rich moderate or heavy acceleration. Still having random idle issues, rarely stalls but will occasionally stall or drop to 400 rpm for a second when coming to a stop.

I need to get a boost gauge so i can verify im hitting my boost im pullied for 10#.

what are the things i need to check? I will go through things again but i want to state my vacuum before was 15-17" @ idle. i understand 20" is ideal but the vacuum before never fluctuated at idle. Back to boost, in theory if im pullied for 10# and not seeing it, should i be looking for an intake gasket below the blower?

how do u guys check for intake leaks after the blower?
