I've been here for a long time, and this is the slowest these forums have ever been during racing season. In fact this is slower than it used to be during the Winter. I guess the ride is over.


Who still comes thru and checks out the boards regularly? Post up all you ghosts out there.

 

I read them.
They haven't built one in four years plus $4.35 a gal is a difficult one/two punch to overcome.

To their credit, the Lightning owners carried the site back in the day.

 

Every once in a while but not as often as before... Still have my L though.

Mostly just lurking these days. By force of habit I keep coming back and checking for new items that pop up.

Might answer a question or two, but most of the time the stuff that is asked/requested has been covered hundreds of times.

Also, too many less than useful posts from non-Lightning owners. IMHO

I guess the Lightning group has moved on for the most part.

I also come here to read what Tim has to say, usually very funny but true.

As for me, I am in it until the last drop of blood, may even be buried in the L.

 

It's been slow here for a while now, but I still come here and check things out. There are a couple of other boards that are very active.

 

I've notice the decline for a while. I'm here everyday; but, it's pretty much straight to GD after looking in here and seeing just a few posts over a 24 hour period. Usually picks up a little when the guys break out their rides in the North East. Not this year though. I miss all the ragging on each other and having a good time. I'll check out how those other sites are doing. Thanks.

 

It dropped off considerably when Leeann left.

 

I check NLOC and this board at the same time -- usually several times a day. This used to be the hot board, and NLOC was slow. Now the tables are turned. I can't explain it.

I try to stay away from any forum that "****tain" I mean Pitstain is apart of.. of wait hes banned from all forums butthe one I help to build, and im banned there now.. lol.. Him and JJ the two people on the forums that make it unwanted to visit. Useless posts by the two of them and niether one of them can never back what they yap about.. I am always on the forums looking for new ideas and posting some new things as well. Im in it for the long haul..

 

Its usually wherever the "drama" is Tim.. thats where the people will go too... Drama and criticism is what makes these forums popular.. Freedom of Speech can help out too. When a forum and its moderators takes that away, its pointless to post, then it becomes an iron fist type of ruling.. You and I have been on these forums a long time, and we have both seen people and vendors come and go.. I honestly think thats why this forum is trouble free. No vendors to bash eachother and no nut hangers to follow..

There were quite a few vendor wars here back in the day. And quite a few member wars too. Does the name Bulldog ring a bell. lol
