Question does this sound right??

im wondering if im loosing power in my L, since i have nothing to base it on im throwing this out to see if it sounds right. i have never been to the track and dont have any 1/4 times but, on my totally stock L with 18K miles, i picked it up used so dont have a feel for a new L and how it feels.
from a dead stop if i go to WOT i get a couple of chirps from the tires then when and if i hit the white line it will chirp again. taking in to account it is currently about 82 degrees here and i have toyo 295 45 18's, any remarks??

That doesn't sound to bad to me! When are we going to get together to compare notes?

WHen I got my truck new in April 2000, it wouldn't spin the tires unles I power braked it. Only after the break-in period did things loosen up enough to get some tire spin. Mine has almost 18K on it and with the stock parts in it, I can only get a scratch out of the tires. Depends a lot on the type of pavement I'm on. I'll roast them in the parking lot at work but out on Michigan ave. in Wayne, I can only get a chirp. Your truck sounds normal to me.
