I got my white L at the end of April and my cap a week ago. I only had it one day and they where talking about it on this site. It is the same cap you have with the Bedrug. I could not have the spoiler because of the garage door height. I love the new look. Great for keeping things in when traveling.

It looks MUCH better than it sounded! I put one on my '93 L because I used ALL the space behind the seats for stereo amps and x-oversa and had a custom built console to house the changer and 10" solo baric woofer, but that was a '93 and they weren't flairsides. Looks nice!

You know I kinda like that top too! the wing helps out with the looks.

I can't believe I just said that.

I do think that if it had no windows on the sides then it might look a little cooler.

do any of you guys remeber when svt was talking about making the bronco lightning. they had drawings of it in some magazine. I think that would have been cool. kinda like the typhoon.

Looks like a moo moo on Pam Anderson! Not bad, just not as good as it could be.

Love ya Pam (even in a moo moo)

Leonard, looks pretty damn good! I would just 86 the spoiler. There is something about spoilers on trucks that just don't look right. Gives them a ricey look, but thats just my opinion. People have their own taste.

Don't remember reading that, but that would be smooth. Then again, how would it be fast? Too heavy, I would think.
Now, if they did something with the Ranger/Explorer Sport....

Thumbs up

Hey Leonard,

That looks good! I think my contractor buddy might be able to buy a Lightning now after all... (he absolutely has to have a topper for his business and his 3 large dogs) I have this funny feeling after I take him for a test drive my Pop's 01 and then show him a pic of your truck he will be rushing down to the local Ford dealer!

Thanks for posting the pic!

IMHO....It adds a lot of weight. Personally, I want my L to be as light as possible...to each their own. It DOES look nice though!
