Exclamation 140MPH.....NOT!!!!

Just thought I would pass this info on. According to my code scanner, the speedo is off by 5mph (under). So when your speedo indicates 100MHP you are actually running only about 95MPH. Just FYI.

What I am saying is that what the SPEEDO is NOT 100% accurate. I have had my Bolt at 138MPH according to the Code Scanner but the Speedo was pegged. Now is the glass half full or half empty? You take your pick as to which is the most accurate reading

Well..it dont really matter to me as much. I posted that for a few laughs and comments. LOL..not like I drive that speed all the time
When I took that photo, I guess I was running what...140-142 on the guage??
Well...I did not let off until well after that and was easily over that "margin of error". But It was kinda hard taking the photo alone, especially at that speed...LOL

Well if that's the case then i pick the speedometer then, because everytime when i use my f1's at the track i always look at my speedo at the end of the 1/4 and it is always the same as my MPH on my ticket!

Spiro,
Next time don't mess around with 140,it looks to me that it is going to take 160 to get some people's attention around here!!LOL Nice run bud!!

Our "test" mode shows about 1.5 mph fast on our REAL guage, but the tach dead-on.

Anyone else see this as well?

Cool

I've found that my speedo is a couple miles per hour over what the digital speedo reads (when you start the truck while holding in the odometer reset button). I think they intended to keep us slower on the hwy -- I can't imagine that the engineers would have missed that one.

Maybe the speedometer was off in the other direction, ya never know? It would also change with 16,18,20 inch wheels, etc.

Spiro's speedometer noted 140-142mph, but he has 33" wheels so he was actually doing about 179mph.

I checked my Speedo with both a GPS and a State trooper and they both confirmed that it is accurate enough for me !!!
