Question Traction control

Does anyone have any kind of traction control devices on their L?

If so, can you comment on them and possibly give some pics.

Was looking on PSP's site and got curious about their Caltrac's.

I know someone out there has 'em.

I know that Sal has done extensive testing with them, and in fact helped them re-design to be "lightning friendly" And seem to work rather well for his 99.

I dont have them yet, but I know these are in my very soon to do list, people that have them, love them And these will eliminate my AXLE-WRAP problem.

Spiro's right, I've had them on my 99 for almost two years and they do solve the axle wrap issues. They have alos helped control the slide to the right when the tires are spinning hard. They make holding it straight a lot easier.

Try http://www.bavarianparts.com/catpage/All/rl.html for true electronic traction control. Looks like it would work great, a tad on the pricey side though.

Cool

Even as we speak, I have a Racelogic traction control system sitting in a box on my kitchen counter. I have volunteered to be the guinea pig for the group. Some of you may recall that Jim Shaw had contacted the U.S. distributor and was supposed to receive a unit at reduced cost. Even sent them a check, didn't you Jim, but never received the system, and got your money back? Anyway, when I learned that that deal fell through I contacted the manufacturor directly, and Alex Dearden made me a very attractive offer if I would put the unit on my truck and report the results to the board(s), which I agreed to do. Right now my top priority is to get my shifting glitches sorted out, but once I do that I will get the Racelogic system installed, and let y'all know how it works.
