Unhappy Need help with window molding!

My lower drivers side window molding is discoloring.It looks like wax was left on it.My L is only 2 months old and I haven't waxed it yet.Tried rubbing alcohol and Mothers Back to Black but can't restore the original finish.Thanks for your help.

Mine has turned a shade lighter in a year's time so that there's a significant difference between the molding color and my truck's black paint. I just attributed it to the year-round SoCal sun exposure. I haven't found a product that would help with the color...

I guess if I ever get the door crack problem,maybe I'll get new molding with it.
