I got my pully about 2 weeks ago but havent found the time to put it on until tommorrow. You guys that have done this install have any tips or things to look out for when installing it. I decided to get the longer belt, picked it up today. Im going to install it around noon on sunday so if you guys have any tips it would be appreciated thanks.

Be sure to support the truck with jackstands is the main thing, and follow those directions step-by-step. It would not hurt to have someone help you turn the motor over by hand slightly so that you may align and install the locking tool, but can easily be done alone. Go for it!! you'll love how it all goes together

As for the belt, try both and go with the one you feel "fits" better.

I put a box end wrench on the bellhousing bolt and was able to pull it over without having to crank the engine. Make sure you have the allen bit for the new bolts and locktite (blue) and it helps to have a friend to pry the belt back on while one person is holding the idler pulley over with a 1/2 bar. I had to remove the nut off the top of the intercooler resevoir tank to easily get to the top idler pulley. We used a flat blade screw driver to get the belt back on the blower snount. One guy removed to drivers side smooth pulley and then put it back on after he put the belt over the blower pulley. I have access to a lift which is nice for doing the bottom work.
