That poor truck.....

Someone should buy it just to save the poor thing from an even worse future.

I was looking at the ebay ad agian and noticed the the engine bay was painted along withe the door jams hmmm then I thought back to the Barret Jackson auction and some of the GM collection was sold on salvage titles even know they were new Prototypes that were street legal ..hmm

can someone run the vin in the add and get a paint code ??? Or maybe they painted it all when rebuilding it

The underside of the hood looks like it has been clear coated, Not done on a stock color lightning.

If the 8th digit in the VIN is a 3, then it's a "real" Lightning.

I have a picture of a factory painted yellow lightning from 2000 that was a spyshot outside the windsor factory. To my knowledge, this was the ONLY one.

Anyone have any more info. I bet if this is infact true, a factory yellow lightning would be of much value to an enthusiest.
we did build one yellow Lightning at OTP in Oakville. I don’t know what you saw in Windsor.
