2000Lightning Idle RPM?

well in warm weather between 650-800rpms

in cold/colder weather they will idler higher (expecially right after a cold start)

also, since you have a '00 you need to find out if the i/c recall has been done


and when you change plugs make sure you torque them properly, you do not want a spit plug

Once again i/c?

Any Idea what that tap might be? Ive heard these can tap with a plug backing out since the Gen1's had shorter threads. She hasnt been abbused. I guess it could be fouled plugs i dont see how they couldnt be fouled or dirty as hell with all the oil that was in the valley.

The 42# injectors are noisy.... they do "tap" quite loudly.... hope thats what you are hearing.

intercooler core, if you have a 10 row then you are fine, if you have a 9 row beware...

oo.. I didnt even think to look ( well honestly didnt know) I know its made by Garrett i will call in my vin and check.

the repair kits are expensive, I piad just over $500 for mine (slightly used) and a brand new one went for $700+
