Question Rear Diff Oil - which one and how much

Hi -

I have discovered a small leak coming from the centre cover on the rear diff - looks like the seal/gasket has gone sour - so i do need to replace the seal with silicon.

As do this job, I will need to replace the oil in the diff

What grade and how much do I need (in litres) ??

Looks like 75w90 or 75w140

As I am in the UK local ford dealer does not stock this so will have to go for another brand - any recommendations ??

You should have tag on your differential indicating what weight of fluid to use.

If it's limited slip don't forget the friction modifier-put it in first.
