I was under the impression they only went to 2nd gen lightnings that ended in 03?

 

the 2nd Gen Lightning was from '99-'04

 

Have not seen a low mileage 04 lightning at the classifieds. A few on Ebay but not in the Midwest... I am very interested in a lightning and have the money available. Thanks guys.

 

I have a low mileage, adult owned, mildly modded red '03 for sale in WA. It's under my username in both the classifieds and washlo forum on NLOC. This forum is pretty much dead.

 

I just recently purchased my 04 Lightning and waited a few years to make the plunge. The 04's seem a little harder to find, but, they are out there, as ebay motors has a few. I live in Redding Calif., and this is only about the 4th lightning I have seen for sale in my area in the last 4 years. Mine is white with about 54,000 miles on it. It is not great, but not bad. Just keep looking and you will find one.

Not sure what you consider low miles. I went to auto trader put in a Wisconsin zip code (picked at random b/c I dont know where you live) and got some hits. Here are a couple links hope this helps:

I am also looking for a 04 Lightning. Have a HD to sell first though. Seems like there are more 03's than 04's. Maybe the production numbers were lower in 04 ?? Auto Trader has had the most candidates though...

I found a 2004 on autotrader myself....picking it up tomorrow.
2004 production was the lowest (3,781). 2000 (4,966), 2001 (6,381), 2002 (4,726),
2003 (4,270). It took me a while to find the color I wanted (DSG) with low miles (less than 30,000.
