Arrow PSP FASTair system

Hey guys, PSP has a new product just about ready for release. It's a new air system we have been developing based on the "issues" with all the current setups out there. We are very proud of it, and I would just like everyone to take a look at the info page on it below, and give me your feedback. The systems can be ready to ship within 2 weeks if the demand it there. Thanks!!

Looks like you are onto something there. I like your design I bet you will sell a whole bunch of them.
I made my own fresh air system but I only used a single 3 inch hose, and no heat shield. I like your setup looks like it must bring air to the filter in two places.

I was wondering if the scoop could be mounted in the lower grill to give it a stealth look.

Here is where I put my scoop

By the way I got the new bars installed. Thanks for the help.

Im interested !!!

Sal:

I would certainly be interested in one of them if the price was right. What's the price for the Fastair setup?

I would be also interested in a lower pulley and a 4 way chip. A nice complete package deal would be nice?

I have a 01 L.

Thanks,
JC

Question lean mixture

Sal: Your set up looks very nice. I am concerned; being a newbie owner of an '01L, I read a previous post about having air kits making the air/fuel mixture too lean.

Will your setup also cause this problem? I want to increase HP via increase air flow, not hurt engine performance. I also would like to keep my chip stock (for now), I am extemely concerned about affecting my warranty (for now).

If your setup will cause adverse affects to engine performance, must your chip be installed to work hand-in-hand?

Thanks for anyones' input.

Cool

Sal,

It looks like a nice setup. Well thought out but here comes the important question. How much does it cost? In my case, without the filter kit.

Very nice setup Sal,that is the way to do it keep the hot engine heat out and let the fresh outside air in.This is similar to what i have now and it helped me go faster. This will be a big hit!!

Looks very nice.

You mentioned it would work with yours and JDM's, but will it work with JL's filter kit (12" Powerstack)?

It has been my experience with set-ups like this that the ribbed hosing causes alot of air turbulence in the intake track and actually has a negative effect on performance. I would like to see some tests with the hose in place and with the the covered filter just sucking air from the fenderwell. Some G-tech or Tracks times would be more conclusive than a dyno test for these.

Anybody else have any thoughts on this?
