SVTDave: I tried removing that besel but how do you get the fasteners loose? They have a Phillips head but just spin without backing out. I wanted to ask someone before I tried prising them out. Dan

Superfords, you could use the airraid kit, take the front panel off, leaving the remaining two sides to shield hot engine air, and remove your plastic besel on top of the radiator. The air coming into your front grill will bathe the filter in outside air.

Dan,
They arent philip head screws, they just "look" like them. They are just fastners. They pop out, I used snips and put the fastner between the blades and used the leverage of the handle of the snips to pop them out.
