How much should I lower my Lightning?
Im partually worried about parking and hitting curbs and stuff.
I noticed that with the stock height my Lightning seems to just clear curbs.
I was playing with PSP and made a before and after of what Id like it to look like.
What do you guys think ? I myself like the after photo I made
Ronnie 2001 Lightning Black and Stock! (For now)

I'm more worried about scrapping the front if I hit a bump or pothole in the road.
I'm not worried about scraping the side because I park at least 5" from any curb. And I'm not worried about scraping the front on a cement divider b/c I back into most places and the butt end has a much better clearence.
I'm lowering mine hopefully in August, so far it's either the Belltech 3/3 drop or the Hotchkis 1/2 drop.

Had mine dropped 2.5" in front and 3.5" in the rear.
All work performed at a local shop. DJM shackles and hangers in the rear, with a custom, modified OEM A-arm and springs in the front. Oh yeah, new KYB shocks all around.
I've gotten many a compliment and even more attention since the drop. I still use the bed to haul stuff around, but I'm aware of and careful to not put any serious weight in there. Haven't had the need to tow anything yet, but again I will be mindful of weight, etc. Anyway, it all works for me!
