Cool X-Pipe

I purchased the bassani x-pipe for my 01 and am thinking about running straights with it or putting the Dynomax Ultra Flo Bullet race mufflers on it.Does anyone have this current setup or have any suggestions what i should try with this x-pipe.I know alot of guys are running the magnaflow and seem happy with it.

Hi Johnny it was great to see you and your wife again at Stanton!
I wished we lived closer so we could race together more often.Anyway i thought you had a x-pipe with a Magnaflow muffler on your truck.Did you get the full cat back system from Bassani to try out and do you prefer it over your other setup?
Good hearing from you again!!!!!

Thumbs up

I dont have an x-pipe, but I am running a magnaflow mufler & think its great. I really like the sound, & get plenty of compliments. Sounds like a good combo!!

I am running the high volume magnaflow cats with an H-pipe before dynomax race mags. I also have the long tube headers. The sound is great and I got some horsepower according to the dynojet.

I'm always amazed that there seems to be little to no dyno #'s for exhaust systems (magazine propaganda does not count). I would like to know what the bassani is worth; just the x-pipe; magnaflow..etc.

Sure would be a great start to know which exhaust does what and what intake set-up produces the most power. All it takes is a little time and a few trips to the dyno. Seems like we should be their after 3 years with these trucks. I've posted my results and would be happy to share with anyone.

This would be so much more productive than arguing about chips.
