Spare tire and limited slip

In another life I owned a Miata with the limited slip rearend. Owners manual said if you have a flat with a rear tire, put a front tire on the back and put that space saver spare on the front.

My L's spare is a Firestone Wilderness somethingorother. It's not a space saver but it's not the same size as the F1's.

Any similar warnings for the L?

Ford's owners manual states the same.

And we're supposed to break loose 10 lug nuts that are supposedly torqued to 150 ft.lbs. with the factory supplied 'wrench'?

I'm gonna' call a wrecker!

Nothing to worry about. Although the spare is a different size tire mounted on a 16" wheel the overall diameter is the same as the OEM tires. Same diameter = same rolling circumference = no problems for the limited slip diff. Now, if you change tire sizes to something with a different overall diameter then all bets are off.
