Here is a link for you guys you might all enjoy. You can build custom plates from any state on here. Try out your ideas before you buy the plates.

Son-of-a......

O.K. I have a '98 F150 with Lightning wheels. I couldn't help but put the OEM SVT center caps on and I can't stand posers. Therefore, I'd hate to look like a poser. This is my suggestion as to a license plate to show everyone I'm not trying to pose that I have an SVT vehicle. Hope the link works. That web site said that copying their URL was disabled. We'll see.

Crap! Knew it wouldn't work.
Well since I don't know how to post a jpg. this is what it was going to read:

SVT1AB

I doubt I'll do that because it's kind of degrating. Oh well.

chipper,

there is a black 2000 standard-bed F-150 in the west side of Indy that has 99-00 L wheels/tires but retained the standard badging. it looks excellent!!

Cool Thanks Guys!

I just hate wannabe's so damn much that I couldn't handle being labeled as one.
I'm not changing out any of my standard badging at all. As a matter of fact, my Blue STX stickers on the sides of my style side bed will help the cause. I don't even have a flare side so that helps too.

How'd you like to see this in your mirror?

If the pic doesn't work, it says "3M TA3."

Talking

I've seen that a long time ago. Someone tried to put that on a license plate in one of those states that require a front plate. It reads "eat me" in your mirror. Funny as hell but DMV caught it and wouldn't let them do it.

retics4me,
I don't have any pictures yet. But I will. Once I get some I'll post them in the "Wheel & Tire" section.
True that anyone who knows trucks will know my truck is not a L.
But you have those morons out there that see those SVT center caps then automatically start making assumptions. Well at least their not "F150 Type R VTEC" stickers. LOL

Question

How did you get those plates to show up BOB? As you can see, I tried earlier but no luck. I put [img] [/img] around the url but it still didn't work.
heheheha Now that's funny. I'm getting the X for just telling you what I did now. I did the img bracket thing.

chipper,

you have to save it as an image file (.jpg) locally, then upload it to a gallery. I used my free F150online gallery.

to create a gallery, click on the "zing is dead" link a the top of the page and follow the instructions.

Steve (webmaster) made it real easy... THANK YOU!!
