Probably the 'summer blend' (sounds like some sort of coffee..) of gas. Mine gets around 10-12 no matter what, chip-n-filtered.

Mine gets usually 15-16 mpg... So far this summer I've had the a/c on all the time and still get about 16 mpg... Also mine is chipped, filtered and has the modular valve... Love the new JDM warm weather program too...

Later, Justin

Gas mileage...

Got my '00 about a month ago, and checked the mileage on the first two tanks around town and back/forth to work. Averaged 14.1 and 14.7 (the second tank went through after the ARE LSII cap went on).

Put about 400 miles on last weekend, half on the interstate and half on two-lane. Behaved myself (tough to do), ran the a/c and got 17.119 on the interstate (205 miles), then topped off just for grins and got 17.08 on the two-lane (249.5 miles). Average for the trip was 17.099.

Am I happy with this? Yeah, couldn't be happier if I was twins! This level of performance, decent fuel economy, and able to handle heavy traffic (30 minutes to move 5 miles) without a hiccup. Why did I wait this long?!
