? For Anyone With Bed Not Lined Up With Cab

Hey BadAzz516:
It's a common fact that if you look and ANY F-150's on a dealers lot there will be significant variations in the right or left side clearance to the cab (centering). There are 4-6 hold down bolts in the bed and any body shop can loosen them so as to re-center the bed properly. I would imagine that it would help to have at least 2 people on each side to move the bed around as to re-align it.

I can't believe Ford just can not get these things right from the factory...
I went to a Ford dealership last night w/ my girlfriend (she is looking for a new car), and this dealer had 4 brand new 2001 Lightnings right in front of the showroom... 2 Black, 1 Silver, and 1 Red... As I am checking them out, I notice something is not right with the Red one. The front bumper was literally an inch or so lower on the drivers side than the passenger side. Very noticeable. Are there not any people in quality control? This is something that is so visible, and so apparent that I can't believe that it was let out of the plant that way. And for that matter, I guess there aren't any people at this dealership that check out the new vehicles they put on their lot either. Oh well, just have to keep telling myself that the good far out weighs the bad (so far at least...)
