Lightbulb overdrive

I know this might be a dumb question, but i was wondering if or how much of a performance increase putting it into overdrive does for the L.....thanks for da help...

I'm not sure about this, but I've heard that turning it off makes it not shift into 4th gear.......

Nah, no dumb questions. Those that think so forget we were all at square 1 once ourselves.

Anyways, overdrive has one function and one function only--fuel economy (4th gear is overdrive).

yes, taking overdrive off does not allow the L to hit the last gear = tops off at 120mph... made that mistake one night running a SC400 (still blew his doors off =)
