info on my Lightning for those of you who are wondering about it

due to increase in PM's about my Lightning and what's done to it here's some info for you

1. stock long block (70k mile removed from another ‘02)

9. Dyno Tuned by Lee @ Blankenship Tuning and Performance LLC = ? rwhp @xxxx RPMs / ? rwtq @ xxxx RPMs
10. braille battery / aluminum battery hold down box
11. Relocated power steering reservoir
12. A/C Delete accessory belt drive (A/C components unbolted, but included)
13. dual 16inch electric “pusher” fans, (unknown controller)
14. twin walboro 255’s / stainless Y-fitting / gates hoses / BBK adjustable regulator and ’97 rails
15. J&S Safe Guard / Vampire engine protection system – steering column mounted indicator gauge
16. “Blacktop” 3/8 inch mid-plate / turkey pan aluminum spacer
17. JDM 3/8 inch pholenic plenum composite spacer
18. DMR bracket for the Barometer
19. NGK TR6 spark plugs
20. stock 180* thermostat
21. a couple of “air flow” mods that I don’t talk about, LOL
22. DELETED = EGR, Evap, Cruise Control, additional vacuum box, stock battery box, windshield washer tank and lines, under-hood I/C tank, heat shields

Suspension and Brakes
1. Hotchkiss rear leaf springs
2. Hotchkiss front coil springs
3. Hellwig front and rear sway bars
4. JLP 54" long bars
5. Competition Engineering drive shaft loop
6. Hotchkiss TVS spec bilstein shocks

Transmission
1. PI 2600 stall converter
2. JLP valve body
3. F250 transmission fluid cooler (stock radiator flow thru / heater bypassed)

Interior
1. stock seats
2. no radio currently
3. Cruise Control Buttons delete trim waiting to be installed (also have brand new buttons)
4. a/c unit disconnected but in cab components still in place
5. chrome pedals (unknown make/model) – about to be removed
6. J&S Vampire knock detector gauge (in steering column pod)

Exterior
1. tinted windows / windshield brow
2. Street scene grills (faded black) – about to be swapped for ’99-’00 Lightning grills
3. after market (believed to be DEPO) black head lights and tail lights with stock third brake light
4. 03/04 rims with 295/45/18 nitto 555's
5. front wheel well liners deleted
6. trailer hitch deleted
7. factory spare tire and spare tire winch deleted
8. bumper hole plug

also the new grills are being painted right now, and the new lights are waiting to be installed and I installed the bumper hole plug...

Thanks for posting your mods .. Of course we are curious what times in the 1/4 mile all those things get ya Will you have to install a roll bar as well ?

when I get back in July, I'll do that and some more weight loss while the motor is out
