Ligtning Owners Selling??

I remember when the Lightning was a marvel. Car guys said we were not telling the truth about our ETs. I still have my 1999 and it is in terrific condition. I wish I had a Lightning savvy shop near by (60441) My Ford dealer has done all my recalls and changed the plugs once. I've used it to haul stuff as well. A really useful vehicle. Mods are modest - Air Raid, Superchip, and American Racing wheels (20 inch)

I had 3 of them. traded my '93 when i went through divorce because i needed a car. bought a 2003, drove it fot 130,000 =, used to to haul my dirt bikes in the bike, or in my 12 ft trailer. it was a good truck, until it threw a plug, and went up in flames. good thing is i paid 28,000 new, got 19,000 for it when it burned about 3 years ago. bought a 94 and drove it for a while, but traded it in for my 2012 f150 i have now.
the 2003 was awesome, i would still be driving it, if it hadn't burned like that. it was lightly modded.
here it is about 2 months before it burned
and after
my 94 that I just got rid of:

Unfortunately I had to get rid of mine. I loved that truck to the day I traded it in. I still miss it. I traded it in on a SuperCrew F150 w/ecoboost because I bought an offshore fishing boat that shouldn't be towed with a small/light truck. With a few mods that are unconventional to a Lighting my 02' Lighting could have pulled that boat but better judgement prevailed and I replaced it with the right tool for the job. It was my daily driver for 11 years 166k miles and I ran it at our local track OFTEN.
