After talking with TampaSVT about his Street Scene Speed Grill on his L I decided that my 2000 XLT had to have one... Well, get this, the grill insert for the 2000 XLT is $140... the insert for the L is $85! What the @&#^? This is the first time I have ever heard of a comparable L part being less than a "regular" F-150 part. I was always under the impression that the regular F-150's and the L's had the same grill surrounds. Can anyone clarify? What is the difference... besides $55 for the grill? LOL

 

The "Lightning" grill is probably the one for our lower valence. I imagine we have to buy BOTH for $220.

Hey there I am in the process of a model change on my own F 150 from a 1999 to a 2001 L look a like and have a Speed Grill installed in my honeycomb up for sale, email for details.
