Hey i was interested in getting the 01 signal mirroirs for my truck. I got everything else on there 01 tails,heads, corners, fogs, third brake lights, grills hehe. Well i like the blinker mirrors and called www.fordpartsonline and they told me that the blinker is just like the painted cover on the mirror.But they said i would have to buy the whole mirror and the cover but the covers dont come painted to match. So i was wondering for anyone that has done this mod was it hard and did you have to get your mirrors painted.Any info would be great.

Sorry no info on the mirrors but was wandering how you got the 2001 fog lights to fit and how much they cost? I heard that they will not fit the 99 & 2000 trucks.

Well i was in an accident with my truck and the front got smashed in. Some damn lady who shouldnt have even been driving she made an illegal turn over double yellow lines cutting me off. So i t-boned her hit her good to and spun her out hehe. So i got a 01 bumper. The day i thought my truck was gonna be ready i got called saying that i had to wait a day since my old fogs wouldnt fit so i got the 01 fogs. Which i wanted i had the heads and corners at home.

I put the 2001 signal mirrors on my 2000 L. The mirrors came as a complete unit due to the wiring for the signal and was painted red to match the truck.

No, the mirrors were brand new. I know that before I bought them from him, I checked at the local Ford dealer and he confirmed that the mirrors did come painted the color of your truck. I did not purchase them at that time since they were pricey, which was a good thing as the ones that I got were less then half of what the dealer wanted.

Go to the website. Pick 2001 Ford, F150 Collision. Front door -> reg & supercab -> outside mirrors -> mirror cover -> painted

They are there, painted too.

How do you wire these things in?

 

They just plug into your existing wiring harness.. They work GREAT too

 

Well i just ordered the mirror covers with the blinker in it like 2000 F150 4x4 said to do on www.fordpartsonline.com. I was wondering if when you pop the covers off is where you have to hook the blinkers up to right there and how hard is it. Any info would be great.
