What he means by four door is they will all be extended cab with the smaller opening rear doors. No more short cab pickups. This is what my source tells me also and that SVT was pulling their hair because they need more horsepower for the added weight because if they build a truck that is slower than ours we will all rebuild and not buy the new one. Rebuilding might be fun. I wonder if I can fit a chevy 502 big block in this truck. I love the big block.

Not only would it be heavy, but I think it would just look ugly and not handle well.
I really can't see any company stop the making of the regular cab pickup truck. Thats just bad buisness.
I do have to say that an extended cab version would be nice for stereo's and hauling chit. Maybe ford should just figure out a way to make the truck lighter. complete fiberglass body for the L.
