Hughes Trans Pan

I just installed a new transmission pan. see http://www.hughesperformance.com/ and www.ncs-stl.com/Images/pan.jpg

Notice that the pan hangs quite a bit below the main frame rails and the drain plug is only 6 1/4 " from the ground. Also the new pans are not painted.

I just installed that same trans pan on my truck. I got it from spiro but it was painted black i guess that he must have done that. All and all nice piece. I put 8 quarts of mercon in her and im pretty sure that it filled her up gotta check again in a few days after driving. awhittle how many quarts did you put in?

Andy, I have the Ford deep pan and it sits about the same with the sump. Spiros pan came painted, he bought it when we were at Cecil county from Performance Automatic. I think it was an early production pan, that might be why it was painted.
